Blue Tit Textile Sculpture

TEXTILE ART SCULPTURE

This cheeky little blue tit stands 16cm tall (including base) and measures 20cm from the tip of its beak to the end of its tail feathers.

Like every bird sculpture I create, he is made entirely by hand, using vintage and pre-loved fabrics.

Detail is added with hand embroidery

The legs are formed from wire and covered with thread and the beak is modelled from polymer clay.

This piece took many hours to make and is unique due to the nature of the materials used. I make similar birds, but no two are ever exactly the same. Each has its own personality.

This is not a toy and should not be made accessible to children or pets.
